As we wind down the last few hours of 2018, my heart has been replaying the year that has come and gone so very quick. Much could be said from the great highs to some very low places. However, in just a few words it could be summed up with the verse God gave our family “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” We knew it would be a year of pruning and trust. As the year closes, I can truly say it was not only that, but much more. In pain we found promises. In fear we found deeper faith. In valleys we found victory. God has been so gracious and I can say we are better for it, and feel much closer to God. My heart is fired up with “passion” to see how the promises of 18 shall come to pass in 2019!

As we set our hearts on 2019, the phrase and theme for the year God has given us is “With All of Our Heart.” Over the past 2 years, since we started setting themes, it is amazing how God has tied them together. In 2017 our theme was “grow.” Then in 2018 God “strengthened” what He grew in 17. Now it is  our desire to bring God glory by taking what he has given us, and the in every area of our life do all we can with PASSION to help others and please God.

I felt burdened to write this for one reason. You can not begin a journey till you know where you are suppose to go. I want to challenge you to set some themes and God led destinations for this year in each area of your life. From your personally, to your family, and then your ministry (for my preacher friends out there.) If you would like I would love to hear from you and lets WITH ALL OUR HEART pray, invest, and rejoice together along the journeys of 2019!
